Youth Group

St. Alban’s is blessed to have adults who are committed to giving of their time and talents to lead our youth as examples of Christian witness in fellowship and worship.

The youth of the parish from 6th through 12th grades have combined with the youth of Peace Lutheran Church for afternoons of fellowship, food and spiritual reflection - along with playing a few outlandish and disgusting games. The group is led by Alison Dilworth, Jeanne Foster and Fr. Jeff Shankles.

The group meets on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month from 4-5:30 p.m. and occasionally at other times for special activities.

The Youth Group is also mission minded, remembering that Christ commanded us to help others in need. This past year the group has served breakfast at a NW Washington soup kitchen, prepared and served dinner at a local hypothermia shelter, participated in food drives and is planning a mission trip to Appalachia in July.
