Fellowship

Fellowship and Service opportunities at St. Alban's reflect the vitality and involvement of our parishioners. In addition to the formal committees, members share their time and talents in a variety of other ways, such as:

     * Altar Guild - group responsible for setting and clearing the altar for each service
     *All Saints Guild - prepares and serves food for receptions
   * Bazaar - annual fundraiser, featuring crafts, books, toys, jewelry, and bake sale items
     * Bible Study - small group discussion of scripture from current lectionary
     * Callers and Greeters - groups which make newcomers feel welcome
     * Choir - sings at the 10:15 service
     * Coffee Guild - provides refreshments after services
     * Chatting Fingers - craft group working for Bazaar
     * Education for Ministry (EFM)- year-long in-depth study group
     * Episcopal Church Women - chapter of national group
     * Garden Guild - provides upkeep of courtyard and plantings around the church
     * Lectors - read the lesson on Sundays
     * Library - a lending library of religious material
     * Lunch Bunch - social group that meets monthly at a local restaurant or special site
       * Newsletter - monthly publication with church news
     * Nursery - childcare provided during services
     * Pancake Supper - Shrove Tuesday dinner hosted by the Vestry
     * Pantry Guild - maintains stock in kitchen
     * Prayer Groups - parishioners dedicated to daily intentional prayer
     * Rummage Sales - annual fundraisers
     * Sunday School Teachers - teach our children
       * Youth Group - separated into Jr. and Sr. groups for service and social activities
